Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain how the process of managing learning is interesting in schools as a manifestation of the implementation of a quality independent curriculum and describe what are the right strategies used in managing learning to improve quality, especially in schools. Based on the type and analysis, this research is a qualitative research type through literature study using descriptive methods. Where research sources are obtained from various sources of literature such as books, journals, internet, and other relevant sources. The results of the study show that: 1) most students feel bored and bored with participating in the learning process, especially in class. For this reason, efforts and the role of the teacher are needed in order to create an interesting learning atmosphere because if the quality of learning and teaching is good, students will also get a good level of understanding . 2) management of the learning process in class is good and interesting, namely: learning is designed by taking into account the context of students (Contect Teaching Learning), active participation of students as learning activities, there is a foundation (scaffolding) and self-confidence and student independence is formed. 3) learning management also requires curriculum management as a cooperative, comprehensive, systematic curriculum management system. For this reason, the independent curriculum is the right curriculum to use in the current era. The Independent Curriculum gives educators the freedom to create quality learning that suits the needs and learning environment of students and presents a more relevant and interactive learning system. For this reason, the results of the research analysis show that the use of the curriculum and the independent learning platform is in accordance with the efforts of the State of Indonesia to create a quality education climate so that it can give birth to a generation that is ready to adapt to the development of today's conditions
