Model PBL Guna Meningkatkan Kreativitas Siswa MI/SD dalam Pembelajaran Abad 21

Learning in the 21st century requires learners to master the skills in the 21st century. These skills are Critical Thinking & Problem Solving, Creativity and Innovation, Communication, and Collaboration (4C). One of the important skills to be developed in a learning process is creativity. Creativity has a vital role in completing a problem faced. One of the learning models that can facilitate 21st-century skills is Problem-Based Learning (PBL). PBL is a learning model that uses a scientific approach with a problem-based. The research aims to determine whether there is an increase in creativity by implementing PBL in 21st-century learning. This research is qualitative research with library or literature study research techniques. The results showed that the implementation of the PBL learning model could improve learners’ creativity. Through a series of learning activities in the PBL, learners are encouraged to be creative in planning and realizing the solution to the given problems. Thus, the implementation of PBL in 21st-century learning can improve the creativity of Islamic elementary school or elementary school learners.
